Cyber{IN}security –
Rethinking Cyber Strategies in Tumultuous Times

offering insights on key threats and necessary responses to today’s data and cyber security challenges.

Cyber threats and distrust are on the rise, accelerated by the COVID-19 crisis. More than ever, private and public entities need to sharpen their focus on cyber security and find models and strategies to collectively mitigate cyber risks.

Reason enough for the Munich Cyber Security Conference (MCSC) 2021 to explore the increasingly complex threat landscape, fueled by a growing management complexity, a lack of oversight, and resource scarcity. In this sophisticated threat environment, traditional security tactics are failing and need to be reconsidered.

The debate on digital sovereignty and the necessary adoption of advanced cyber security strategies and how the focus can be shifted to better resilience and active defence will mark this year’s conference edition. The annual conference aims to encourage organisations to revisit their security posture and to foster exchange and exploration of new approaches on how to build a more robust and resilient business world and society.

The event will be broadcasted live and is targeted to a global audience. Only this time it’s different, it will be a virtual encounter that once again bring together top-level industry management representatives with leading figures from academia and politics to connect, debate, and share insights in driving cybersecurity to the next level.

For the first time, the event will be organized as a virtual conference over the course of 2 days. It will be broadcasted live from Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich on April 29-30, 2021 from 3:00 until 7:00 pm CET. The conference agenda and streaming link will be available on the website before the event.
